Honda Cbr 150r Standard Description

Honda has been manufacturing spectacular looking sports bikes since ages, and its latest launch of Honda CBR 150R Standard, is no exception. The bike made its first appearance at the Auto Expo 2012 and on 15 March, it was made available to one and all. Holding the flagship of Honda CBR range, this latest Honda CBR 150R Standard is a class apart and is available in two colors of Red and Black wherein, both colour combination look excellent. The legacy of CBR series has surely been raised to the next level with the excellence of this sporty bike. Honda CBR 150R Standard is equipped with 149.4cc, liquid cooled DOHC engine that features Honda’s PGM-FI (programmed fuel injection) technology thus ensuring a smooth power delivery. The 4-valve engine produces a maximum power of 17.7BHP at 10500RPM and maximum torque of 12.66Nm at 8500RPM. As soon as you twist the throttle, you will forget about the 150cc engine equipped in the baby CBR and get mesmerized by the soothing sound produced by the engine. The bike is quick and nippy, and reaches 100kmph in just 11.95sec. Honda CBR 150R Standard gives a mileage of around 37.6kmpl while driving in the city and 41.4kmpl while driving on a highway. Though popular for its sporty looks, the mileage offered by the bike is not too bad. The bike is fitted with a 13litres fuel tank, which looks huge from outside.

Honda CBR 150R Standard is one of the smartest looking bikes in this segment. Facing a tough fight from Pulsar and Apache, Honda CBR 150R Standard overpowers one and all. The Y-shaped headlight and engine cowl are same as the one used in VRF 1200F. The taillight fitted in the bike is same as in CBR 250R and is a non-LED one. The instrument panel consists of a digital speedometer, fuel gauge, trip meter and an analog tachometer. The step-up pillion seat provides slight discomfort to the pillion rider, but the driving seat is pretty much comfortable. The overall length, width, and height of Honda CBR 150R is 2000mm, 825mm and 1120mm respectively. The lightweight bike weighs only 138kg that helps quite a lot in its excellent pick-up. The tubeless tyres provide excellent grip on the road. Overall, the bike is a bit higher on the price side but with its amazing looks and smooth performance, it stands tall in the market.
