Kawasaki Ninja 300 Description
Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a mid-level sport bike. The company targets the mid-end power bike segment. Youth is in the center of the scheme which this bike targets. With the launch of this Ninja, the manufacturer is looking for sharing a stake in the segment which has seen a big surge in sell volume this year. The power bike segment in India is on a roll, and the potential customer base of the country is on the radar to many global manufacturers. The special features of this bike are its looks and unstressed performance. Available in a green theme appearance, this bike comes with a liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The 4-stroke engine carries a 296cc displacement, and it generates a power of 38.5bhp at 11000rpm and 27Nm at 10000 of maximum torque. The bike has a six speed transmission type with a gear sift pattern of one gear down and 5 gears up shift pattern. The bore is 62x49mm, and the compression ratio is 10.6:1. It comes with a DFI 32mm dual throttle bodies and TCBI with digital advance ignition. The semi double frame type is made up of high tensile steel. The wheel base in 55.3”. The front suspension is telescopic with 37mm hydraulic fork, and the rear, it has Uni-track with a 5-step adjustable knob. The front and rear tyres have a dimensions of 110/70-17 and 140/70-17 respectively. The brakes at the front use a disc of 290mm petal-type and at the rear, it has 220mm petal-type disc with two pistons and hydraulic callipers in both. In addition, the braking system has been powered by ABS. The fuel-economy has been improved and now it can commute up to 24kmpl on city streets and 30.5kmpl on highways. However, the manufacturer claims it to be 44.6kmpl. It takes nearly 3.10 second to touch 100kmph mark from the standstill. Its top speed is 158kmph.
This bike is 79.3” long, 43.7” high and 28.1” wide. The height from the ground to seat is 30.9” and the curb weight this bike carries is around 172kg. The color options available are Pearl Stardust white, Lime Gray and Ebony and so on. The design of the bike has not been altered, and it resembles the last model a lot except brighter body colors and graphics. The dashboard is clean and composes two dial designs.
