However, its 1.2-litre petrol engine which is mated to a CVT transmission gearbox is more fuel efficient than its manual version which is an interesting aspect. On the other hand, its automatic version is a 1bhp more powerful compared to the manual version, which is another exciting aspect.

The company claims that the CVT version of Nissan Micra blessed by a 1.2-litre petrol engine can produce a class leading mileage of 19.34 Kmpl compared to 18.44 Kmpl of its manual version. Its diesel version produces version has the ability to return 23.08kmpl of mileage, which is very attractive in the segment. Its diesel version is undoubtedly one of the most fuel efficient hatchbacks available in the automobile segment.

The diesel version of the facelifted Nissan Micra is blessed with a 1.5-litre diesel engine which has the top speed in the range of 150 to160 Kmph. It can cross the 100 Kmph speed barrier in just about 13.36 seconds. On the other hand, its petrol version hosting a 1.2-litre has the maximum speed of 160 Kmph, which is quite exciting. This version can accelerate from 0-100 Kmph speed in just about 15 to 16 seconds.

The top end version of this hatch gets a new sporty design 15 inch alloy wheels, which are further fitted with tubeless tyres of size 15x5.5J. The base and mid range versions are offered with 14 inch steel wheels with full wheel covers. These steel wheels are fitted with 14x5.5J sized tubeless tyres.
