Nissan India Private Limited has a lot of splendid vehicles in their stable and among them Nissan Teana is a luxurious sedan. This sedan is being sold in two variants, which are XL and XV. These variants are fitted with a 2.5-litre petrol engine, which displaces 2496cc. The company has coupled this engine with an Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) gear box, which has the ability to deliver good acceleration and pick up. The braking and suspension system of this premium sedan is quite proficient and keeps it well balanced. This vehicle comes with a lot of striking features and an roomy internal cabin that gives the occupants a plush feel. A few aspects are a bold radiator grille, body colored bumper with fog lamps, electrically adjustable OVRMs with side blinker and so on. In terms of interiors, it has a leather wrapped steering wheel, wood insert on upper dash board, gear lever and door panel, meter display with fine vision, illuminated side step and many other such functions. The top end variant is bestowed with some additional features like illuminated vanity mirrors for driver and front passenger, center console with LED illumination, multifunctional steering wheel, cruise control function, rear windshield with powered sun shade. This stylish Nissan Teana is fitted with all the best in class and practical comfort aspects. It includes an electric power steering with tilt adjustment function, a 12Vaccessory socket, all four power windows with driver side auto down and anti pinch function, an advanced intelligent key with a push button ignition. The XL trim has a dual zone air conditioning system with rear AC vents and air filter. While the XV variant gets plasma cluster along with vents for back seat passengers. Then it has an advanced audio unit comes with six speakers, a multifunctional steering wheel integrated with cruise, call and audio control buttons. The front axle is assembled with an independent strut, while the rear axle gets a similar independent strut along with a multi link type of a suspension mechanism.
Handling and Control
The front wheels are equipped with a set of highly efficient ventilated disc brakes, whereas the rear gets solid disc brakes. This sedan is also equipped with a highly developed anti lock braking system along with electronic brake force distribution and brake assist. On the other hand, the company has blessed this vehicle with a speed sensitive electronic power steering system, which is tilt adjustable and makes handling quite convenient.
