The gadget, HTC Desire 816 weighs 165 grams and supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks. For 2G network, the gadget supports the frequencies of 850, 900, 1800 and 1900MHz. For 3G, the device is compatible with the frequencies of 850, 900 and 2100MHz. With 4G network, HTC Desire 816 is supportive of the frequencies 800, 900, 1800 and 2600MHz. HTC Desire 816, when compared to Samsung Galaxy Note3, has a smaller screen with 5.5 inches for the former and 5.7 inches for the latter. HTC Desire 816 does not have a stylus pen like Samsung Galaxy Note 3. RAM is 3GB with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 while the same is 1.5GB for HTC Desire 816. The power backup for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is of 3200mAh, which again, exceeds the capability of HTC Desire 816 that runs on a 2600mAh standard lithium-ion battery.
Both the gadgets have a 13 megapixels primary camera but the secondary camera is better with HTC Desire 816 as it offers 5 megapixels as compared to the 2 megapixels of Samsung Galaxy Note 3. HTC Desire 816 has a 128GB microSD card slot whereas Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 64GB microSD card slot. HTC Desire 816 comes with a quad-core processor whereas Samsung Galaxy Note 3 provides an octa-core processor.
