Since HTC Desire V is an Android smartphone and has HTC Sense UI with it, so the applications as well as the features and functions available with this droid are far more superior and unique when compared to the other contemporaries.
The HTC Sense UI makes the phone vibrate when the call is answered, which is a very useful feature where one do not have to hold the phone to the ear in order to know if the call is connected and this quick UI will make the user to personalize the widgets and icons according to their choice and preference. This UI is so intelligent that when one does not intend to answer a call, he or she just need to put the phone with its front facing downward, and the phone will automatically decreases the volume of the call so that its user might not get disturbed. This is not enough, this UI even makes your phone to ring loud when a call is not answered and if you picked up the phone in your hands then the ringer starts decreasing its volume. Ambient Light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen as per the light conditions, so that the screen is always visible even when the sun is over the head. These sensors adds more usage to the device and makes the experience most wonderful. There are seven customizable home screen panes where you can add or delete the widgets and icons according to their usage and need. The users can also download more panes from the Android market as well as from the HTC Hubs.
The left side of HTC Desire V holds a long and thin rocker for volume, which is easy to use. The right portion of the device is the house for USB port but this port is not covered by a rotational flip so it very much prone to dust.
