Expert Review of HTC Desire XC
HTC today stands for a brand that does not compromise on quality and unfortunately for consumers, not on price either. Over the last few years, they have done exceedingly well to be classified as one of the top-notch brands in the smartphone market. In fact, when it comes to the design of their smartphones, they are arguably as good as Apple. But they have not been able to overlap Samsung in terms of sales by relying on design alone. HTC Desire XC is another well-designed smartphone that has a big 4.7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a heavy pixel density of 312ppi along with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels. A 16 million color resolution would further help in producing better color accuracy and saturation. With a length of 134.8mm, breadth of 69mm, and a thickness of 9.5mm, HTC Desire XC has a neatly finished back panel and weighs 138.5 grams.
The interface of the device is backed by HTC Sense UI technology. Packed with a dual core processor that operates at 1.5GHz, HTC Desire XC advances its cause further by the presence of 1GB RAM that generates faster speed and better multitasking ability. There is no microSD card slot hence, no external memory expansion ability, a lacuna that might put off some of the users but the internal memory is hefty indeed with 16GB that should accommodate a substantial amount of data that may include songs, games, images, and videos. Android Ice cream sandwich software platform would keep the users in check with current games and applications that the Android world has to provide. Camera is very good with HTC Desire XC as the primary shutter of 8 megapixels carves out beautiful images at a resolution of 3264 by 2448 pixels. Facilities like auto focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face and smile detection really boosts the quality of images.
The user can also shoot simultaneous high definition videos at 1080 pixels that is backed by stereo sound and video stabilization features. Secondary camera is backed by a reasonable amount of pixel strength for the purpose of web calls and video chats. The front shutter comes with 1.3 megapixels to be exact that can shoot videos at 720 pixels. The smartphone is available in the single color of Black and is powered by 2000mAh standard lithium-ion battery. Internet is fast with HTC Desire XC but we have seen better internet connectivity with other HTC smartphones. USB port and Bluetooth are the rest of the connectivity elements of the gadget. HTC Desire XC has a music player supported by the beats technology, which is exclusive to HTC.

Applications and Gaming
HTC Desire XC is a very decent gadget for playing games with the device holding support via Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Loads of games can be downloaded on to the device along with tons of applications without much fuss.
