Expert Review of Nokia Lumia 625 Black
Nokia is almost on the verge of coming back or at least securing the safety zone as a smartphone manufacturing group. The new coming of age devices would induce new life into the company as they have had it tough for some time now. Windows as an operating system does not have as much a powerful base as Android but they do provide something different for the customers. The Lumia series is the most successful Nokia series right now wherein, the Finnish firm has already released some high-end and mid-end smartphones belonging to the same series, and Nokia Lumia 625 is another one waiting in the wings. Nokia Lumia 625 comes with a typical Windows handset design but the previous designs have been much more chic and elegant. The smartphone has a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen that has a meek pixel density of 199ppi and a resolution that leaves a lot to be desired with 480 by 800 pixels. The device has a length of 133.3mm, width of 72.3mm and a thickness of 9.2mm, and weighing 159gm. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass2 technology while the overall panel of the outer part of the handset is also sturdy. The dual-core processor of the gadget that clocks at 1.2GHz and sports 512MB RAM completes the hardware segment of the device, which looks reliable. Microsoft Windows Phone 8 software should do well to make an elegant and graceful interface. The internal memory of the device is 8GB, which is better than what other Android counterparts offer in the same class, and so is the case with microSD card slot with 64GB capacity. A 7GB free Skydrive storage is also available for storing more data on virtual drive. Windows phones always offer more colors especially in the case of Nokia devices and this one is available in Orange, Bright green, Yellow, Black and White. The device looks good in almost all the colors and comes in combination with a primary camera of 5-megapixel resolution at the back end and LED flash at its side. The secondary camera is not nearly as strong with VGA quality but video recordings are very good at 1080pixels. The presence of Wi-Fi hot spot is a good indication of the fact that the user would get formidable internet facilities and here too, there is Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, and HTML5 browser. Bluetooth and USB port work as the remaining connectivity features. Battery strength has always been mind blowing with Nokia smartphones and when one gets a talk time of up to 24hours in 2G and up to 15hours and 10minutes in 3G, you know that you have something special on your hands. Standby time is not that lingering, as one would expect from a Nokia handset but up to 552hours, is still not bad. Music playtime is up to 90hours that can stretch out to internet and other multimedia usage as well.

Loudspeakers are pretty good in terms of volume and bass quality.
Pictures and Video quality
The 5-megapixel primary camera offered by Nokia Lumia 625 may not be the most powerful shutter in its class but produces clean and crisp images at a resolution of 2592 by 1944pixels. Geo-tagging and touch focus are other features for support that the camera has to offer.
