The device has a 3.27 HVGA TFT screen and is backed by the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system. The dimensions of the device include 58.6mm x 109.4mm x 12.5mm as it weighs 112 grams. The processor is of 1GHz along with a 768MB RAM, which as a whole makes the device very formidable in terms of speed. The internal storage capacity is of 4GB, which is again very decent while a microSD card slot allows the user to expand the memory up to 64GB, which is massive by any means. The camera is of 3 megapixels strength but there is no secondary camera. Data connectivity features are plenty including the Bluetooth facility, the USB port while the Internet capabilities are well backed up by Wi-Fi along with Wi-Fi direct. A 1,300 mAh standard lithium ion battery backs the device, which should give the users a decent amount of talk time and standby time. The device is dual SIM in nature and allows the user to keep two SIM's in a single device. There are various colors in which the device is available including white, wine red, deep blue and metallic silver. Samsung Galaxy Young has a 3.27 inch HVGA TFT screen that can be interacted with through the touchscreen technology. For its budget, the screen quality is good but when compared to high profile gadgets, it is not up to the mark. The screen provides a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels along with 256K colors that provide various color combinations. The pixel density of 176ppi makes the display more responsive, sharp and bright.
Samsung Galaxy Young comes with a music player that makes sure that the user can listen to his or her favourite musical tracks that can be heard through the loudspeakers or through the earphones that can be attached to the device with the help of a 3.5mm jack.
