Expert Review of Samsung Wave 3
With Android devices coming from every directions at a furious pace, it’s a brave decision from Samsung to sustain its Bada operating system featuring device with Samsung Wave 3. The third edition of the high end "non-Android" featuring device looks good and solid from the outside with a sturdy look but still feel comfortable in the hand with all the right curves at the right places. The screen is same as those we have observed in the previous Galaxy versions with a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels and is Super AMOLED giving minimum reflection from different angles. The screen size is not small by any means with 4 inches protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass technology. The Bada operating system on the other hand has taken a jump with the device featuring the 2.0 version of the same. The device is also powered by the 1.4 GHz processor which gives it the needed push in terms of speed at which the device works. The camera of 5 megapixel is well backed up by loads of features including Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, image stabilization, touch focus and works at a resolution of 2592 by 1944 pixels. The quality of the pictures produced by the device is good but not great and we can safely assume that camera is not the device's greatest strength. A secondary VGA camera is provided for web calling. Wi-Fi is quick and smooth but not as quick as the Galaxy series. Android is also significantly ahead of Bada in terms of the number of apps and games it has to offer with the Android being the largest market for the same. The 1500 mAh standard lithium ion battery should not disappoint the users and would give the user a healthy talk time and standby time.

The LED flash lets the user click bright pictures even when the natural light is not up to the mark whereas the auto focus is for precision. Internal and External Memory

The user can then store massive amounts of data without worrying about the memory space running out.
Applications and Gaming
Although Samsung Wave 3 has lots of games and apps in the offering, when compared to any other Android device, they seem pretty mediocre not only in terms of quality but also in terms of the quantity. Still those who are not that keen on games, the ones offered by the device are pretty decent and would keep you entertained.
