An internal memory of 2 GB is provided along with a microSD card slot. The RAM is 512MB which is pretty respectable which is comprehensively backed by the 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor giving the user quick accessibility. One feature that arguably performs better for Sony is its camera which is no different for Xperia E with its 3.15 megapixel camera that gives pretty good results at a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels. One drawback is the lack of secondary camera which means the user won't be able to video chat. Music has always been commendable with Sony devices with its earphones enhancing that experience as well. The battery of 1530 mAh is pretty formidable and gives a decent amount of talk time and standby time. The RAM is 512 MB which is decent but another 256 MB would have helped in enhancing the speed.

There is the Bluetooth feature that lets the user connect the device with other devices and exchange data with it including music files, games, images and videos. The Wi-Fi feature makes sure that the user can connect with the web whereas the USB port gives the user access to data exchange with computers and laptops.
Sony Xperia E when compared to Sony Xperia U has a similar screen size with both the devices featuring the 3.5 inch display. Sony Xperia E though has a inferior camera with 3.15 megapixel as compared to the 5 megapixel offered by Sony Xperia U. Where Sony Xperia E edges out Sony Xperia U is in the operating system department with the Sony Xperia E being backed by the Android Jelly Bean as compared to the Ice cream sandwich offered by Sony Xperia U.
