Sony never had the battery strength as its strongest point but with Sony Xperia M Dual, things do look a bit promising as the 1750mAh standard lithium-ion battery gives out a talk time of up to 10 hours and 18 minutes while a standby time of up to 552 hours. These are figures for 2G but for the 3G, the standby time becomes 454 hours while the talk time gets reduced to 9 hours. The user can listen up to 32 hours and 24 minutes of music without any interference. Videos can be watched for up to 9 hours and 42 minutes.
The gadget Sony Xperia M Dual is available in the color of Black, White and Purple and offers loads of data connectivity features including NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct and DLNA. There is USB port, GPRS and EDGE facilities as well. The internal memory is of 4GB that looks a manageable amount of space for the time being and when it becomes insufficient, the microSD card slot of 32GB can be brought into play.
User Interface and UI functionality
The 4 inches display of Sony Xperia M Dual runs on a resolution of 480 by 854 pixels and a pixel density of 245ppi. The quality of images is not as good as we have seen with some of the premier Sony gadgets, but is still pleasant. The scratch resistant technology also prevents the display from rough handling.
Music has always been a powerful element for Sony gadgets and Sony Xperia M Dual too comes with a healthy set of multimedia elements like a music player running in multiple formats and supporting the attachment of the 3.5mm jack. The earbuds are very good in terms of quality and have a fantastic bass quality. The video player does a decent job too in formats of MP4, H.263 and H.264 player.

Sony Xperia M Dual draws on the strength of its 5 megapixels primary camera with a resolution of 2592 by 1944 pixels. The user can also shoot videos at 720 pixels while the VGA secondary camera can make video calls and click images at a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. The auto focus features and touch focus give some kind of precision to the images while LED flash makes it easier to snap images in dark conditions.
The Internet operates at 85.6Kbps with GPRS while 237Kbps speed is offered by EDGE. Sony Xperia M Dual gives a downloading speed of 21Mbps and an uploading speed of 5.76Mbps. Wi-Fi and HTML5 browser are available as expected, while the tethering features are what would please the users with dual band, Wi-Fi direct, DLNA and Wi-Fi hot spot.
Internal and External Memory
The user can use almost 2GB of internal memory out of the official 4GB that the smartphone features. A 32GB microSD card slot is for enhancement of the external memory should the inbuilt memory falls short. The user should not have any problem with the pace of the gadget as it incorporates 1GB of RAM.

There are plenty of data connectivity features to cash in on Sony Xperia M Dual. The NFC facility allows the user to tap on the other compatible gadget for data exchange while the USB port and Bluetooth let the user to do the same via USB cable and wireless respectively. GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hot spot are other mentionable features of the gadget. The 3G SIM of the device works at frequencies of 900 and 2100MHz whereas the 2G SIM is compatible with the frequencies of 850, 900, 1800 and 1900MHz.
Sony Xperia M Dual in comparison to Xolo Q700 has a smaller screen with 4 inches for the former and 4.5 inches for the latter. The pixel density is identical for both the gadgets although the quality of images may be a bit better with Sony Xperia M Dual. Although, the RAM is of 1GB for both the smartphones, the processor for Xolo Q700 has twice the strength of Sony Xperia M Dual. Sony Xperia M Dual features a dual core processor while Xolo Q700 comes with a quad core processor. The camera department stays identical with both the devices with a 5 megapixels primary camera and a VGA secondary camera. Sony Xperia M dual runs on the 1750mAh standard lithium-ion battery but the power backup for Xolo Q700 is more with 2400mAh standard lithium-ion battery. Both the gadgets support the dual SIM facility while the remaining features are also more or less the same.
