The Japanese multinational Panasonic has affirmed that it will finally come up with its 20-inch tablet blessed with 4K imagery resolution at IFA trade show 2013 supposed to held on 4 September. Not to forget, Lenevo has brought a 27-inch tablet in the market. Claims are made for the upcoming 20-inch Panasonic 4K tablet to be the first of its own kind from the company, being the thinnest and lightest 20-inch tablet to be launched till now. The Japanese electronics manufacturer had showcased a similar concept of a 20-inch tablet back in January 2013 at CES trade show and now the recent rumors trigger up the tablet again over the air.
The latest rumors whisper about an upgraded and improved version of the prototype. This rumored TV-sized tablet will supposedly sport an OLED display comprising of 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K resolution which is upgraded according to rumors from earlier pixel resolution of the tablet unveiled at display. The '4K' resolution blessing for the tablet is used to deliver resolutions more than twice of horizontal and vertical Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It is also prompted that the tablet might include slylus pen to enable the user to have natural handwriting experience on the tablet. No other hardware or software specifications are revealed as such from company's end.
Just for your memory, the tablet unveiled earlier at the CES event featured a 20-inch IPS Alpha LCD display and was based on Windows 8 Operating System. The system was powered with a 1.8GHz Intel i5 3427U vPro processor. In addition to such specifications, the tablet included Nvidia GeForce graphics chip and 4GB of internal memory. Here, a question. What purpose would such a huge tablet serve? The answer to this makes this tablet best suitable to business class people. With the size of the tablet, it would be easy for the whole group to view the screen, which it can be said gets possible with the projector phones as well.
To this, projector phones come with battery issues and others like resolution and storage space as well. It sure can be tough to carry around, but for the purposes that people still have to get back to laptops, this might come as a handy solution, thanks to its thin size. The 20-inch size shouldn't be a scare, since we have been carrying laptops forever.
Panasonic is sure to taste huge success soon!
