I used my SLT A55 for almost an year now, and I can tell that SLTs (All of them!) are excellent. I don't see any reason to upgrade to A57 yet, though

the a57 has the best auto-focus in videos (quick and accurate), EVF so what you see is what you get in the film, in-body stabilization for every lens
