A great camera.......Worth buying
by Aditya Gaur on 2014-01-04
As i am a beginner and so i wanted my first camera, i was very confused which camera to buy but then i got to know about this one. It is a great buy almost SLR like pictures and a great zoom i.e 30x. I loved this monster. Although it is 18K or something on flipkart but I got it for 15k from somewhere else.
Not much of a good bet at the price Still okay

Camera is SLR like have zoom n focus rings viewfinder etc etc...but its heavy...image quality is not that good.Risk of blur is High. Always need a tripod for best images.lot of options. good for enthusiasts. overall better than entry level DSLR (even though small sensor affects image quality). you will get a 720mm at low price. Very steady hands required. Great to study photography.

I bought this camera recently (not from flip kart though, got it for 175000).A great camera at this price. Gives you a lot of modes to choose from.
The Zoom is just amazing and captures some great shots in low light conditions.
The one problem I have is that it does take a lot of time to process photos hence delaying the next shot (it does has continuous mode where is you can shoot 11 frames per sec).
I am fully satisfied with this camera.
one of the best high zoom camera

i bought this camera one year ago from other online shop as flipkart not selling this product in my areas. this is a nice camera for daily use.it has some nice features especially tha manual control over zoom barrel.its really nice to hande and giving more precise to zoom and focus function.tha lcd resolution is bit low.so the images looks like bit dark.but it actually brings decent colours and crisp images.design is good, rubberised finish helps to hold the camera very well.never expect anything from it like dslr as it almost looks like a dslr.u can take good pics even at 30x zoom.autofocus is bit slow compared to other cam.but wont be problem for first time users.its worth for the price.u can attatch lense hood and external wide angle and macro lenses.u can find these features on other brands on this price range.it doesnt have a raw function.its work with AA alkaline batteries.man people not satisfied with it.i dont know y.coz block batteries are not easily available.and very expensive than alkaline batteries.both can last up to 450 shots almost.it has an external hot shoe for attatching an external flash.u can also use remote function for night photography.u will not be satisfied with the results for the first few weeks.u will have to play with all the functions.once u feel everything natural it will be easy and u can take some good snaps.i recommend this for those who love taking pics on their daily life.

Fujifilm hs28exr - All manual camera - Lot of noise comes in pictures.
by Hitesh on 2015-02-20
In Auto mode there is lot of noise which comes in pictures in this camera. You have to select low ISO and then shoot but everytime low iso does not work. Zoom is not auto but manual. For picture noise problem quality I contacted fujifilm support but they also could not help and always replied to set camera options and after doing all settings in auto mode there is noise problem in pictures. Its okay in the discounted price range it comes. So if you love manual settings everytime then this is good discounted slr camera else dont go for this.
Great cam, worst delivery ever! Do not use gati couriers!

Value for money product.
I bought it for 14990/-
Sensor size average(2"), so shallow depth of field shots are hard to create.
DSLR like feel. Good build.
Auto focus average.(Sensor shift).
Good camera... feels like dslr indeed... feels like..

A nice camera.. But gave a "lens control error" straight out of the box..
had to get it repaired then....
quality of images are better than a point n shoot..
a focus ring n manual zoom are the merits if this hs28...
if u r interested in photography n can afford a dslr then this is the one u should own.

If u r looking for a point & shoot that works like a dslr.
this one gives u plethora of options to experiment.
And this is an awesome bridge camera

Got this for just 13.8K + 10% cashback. Thanks Amazon!! And this is an awesome bridge camera!

yes ofcoz this cam met my expectations....amazing zoom capability, manual focus the biggest plus point in this price bracket, awesome features and over all twice even proffessional failed to judge whether its a digital or slr coz of its features and all manual controls, 30sec exposure make light painting amazing, am a trick photography lover, thus this cam is a damn lovely device in just 16k. Amazon was as usual good with delievery. Supports macro lenses which is a better feature than my previous sl300, love this cam only drawback i found as compare to a dslr is it doesnt capture RAW.... but still an awesome bridge camera.

This is a complete replacement for a dslr .It has a superb horse shoe mount ad dslr like picture quality even check out th other point and shoot from fujiflim. The view finder is also good . I would recommend it as a biginers camera as it has all the features except
Chang able llenses. But if already a pro the good as a secondary camera
Overall 10 out of 10 .

I have taken this on 3 trips so far. I am not a sophisticated photographer, but this gives great images with nice color saturation. The manual zoom and viewfinder are hard to find nowadays. My only complaint is some difficulty in shooting 360-degree panoramas, but that may go away with more experience.
Save a little more, go for a Canon dslr!
by Vivek G. on 2015-09-08
It is a good buy for people who lift weights every 4 hours! In other words it is quite heavy. It's a good snapper for people who wanna learn manual mode, but if you can put in 7-8k more, you could get a basic cannon/nikon dslr! Your hands will bless you forever if you do that..
by Saravanadeepan on 2014-12-14

2.Will I get rechargeable batteries with charger?
