Have this for almost a month now and this device is amazing in this price range. Heating is very less as compared to hp p series (observed by me). Gaming performane is good, the clock speed of gpu is low because it is 920m but the shader units do their job..
VENTS ARE IN FRONT BY THE WAY... keeps the keypad cool.
GAMING SETTINGS(in which i am playing in good fps)-
black flag- med to high
nfs the run- ultra
nfs rivals - ultra
watchdogs- med to high
battlefield 4 - ulra
crysis 3 - high..
Very satisfied by this laptop.
P.S. got it for 45000 by local retailer

I Been using this product for about 3Months, its a gr8 deel for the price and performs gr8, with i5 5gen processor and 920M 2GB graphics. Its a solid built with aluminium on inside and Black metal lid . its Very very Cool running laptop even when gaming, If you keep the CPU intake at bottom open ( to free air) or using mini FAN . ite almost like a little warn when heavy games are played like Far Cry 4, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Watch Dogs Etc.
1.i5 5th Generation processor very well.
2.920M Nividia 2GB graphics ( nt gr8 but avg okie with price point).
3.Runs very Cool .
5.Full Size Keyboard is Gr8.
7.Sound quality is gr8 (a bit avg volume in inbuilt speakers ).
1.Display is avg (i dint like it really but its ok for its specs , it gets your job done)
2.i dont recommand DVD drive in these days ,they could remove that very noise drive.
If you are a gamer i dont say no but if you have budget about 45k this is the one but if you are at 50k budget then surely go for 940M laptops .
i could get around 24fps avg at 720P running at medium graphics (Far Cry 4).
Splinter cell will get arund 30fps avg at high settings at 720P.
battey is good in m words around 4hr of general use.
920M Nvidia is not really for gaming its just a entry level card. But it doest not disappoint you if your okie with the cinematic experience (24fps) of the Game !! ;) ;)
And working with Virtual Machines (i use Vmware)
it has been a gr8 experience
i used Ubuntu 15, Kali OS, 2003 Server and all of them worked good ,not bad. (Actually it depends on the config you choosed for the Virtual machines . so i here used ,2core 2thread lines, SCSI logic drive , 2GB of RAM for all machines).

I bought this laptop in July for 44k at a local store.I have to say this laptop is amazing.
Before buying this i had got a macbook air from amazon.in.But I did not like it so i returned it.Its much faster than the macbook air.Only thing that macbook does better than this is the battery life.
While watching youtube videos I got around 6 hrs battery life.(macbook around 14 hrs)
I will definitely recommend asus laptop to my friends.
Note:This laptop has very poor linux support(thats why 4 stars).Asus needs to provide drivers for linux also.Without proper driver the touchpad scrolling does not work,Brightness control does not work, and the battery drains very quickly.
Best laptop under 50k for gaming!
by Rajesh V Nair on 2015-07-28
>Excellent built quality
>Performance is excellent. GTA 5 runs at 45-55fps( max resolution and min graphic detail settings)
>3.5 hrs of battery life.
> Only negligible heating under even heavy gaming. Asus's IceCool tech is not a gimmick
>Display color reproduction is not great. Saturated and faded colors. But text is crisp.
>No CAPS On indicator LED is the most annoying thing.
You might face driver problems when trying W7. Installing 8.1 will solve everything.
Beware! Misleading product pictures!
by Mahammad Shahid Shaik on 2015-08-27
Look at the second picture, the laptop has horizontal line texture on the top and the third picture shows cross line texture! Which one is the real picture of the actual product? 2nd or 3rd? Both are not same! Don't mislead with different pictures, we are paying around 45,000...and that's not just small amount.
