by anuj tiwari on 2012-11-24
I have purchased this from hp world, and believe me with in two days of my purchase, i am facing display problem. I can not say about the performance as I did not get enough time to use it thanks to hp, and now I know why envy is right title for this laptop because after purchasing this you will envy those who dont own this.
the laptop is waste of money

slim and light weight
really satisfied with this one
I bought it through flipkart as it was not available with any of the local dealers..
Being a first time laptop user, I chose it after careful research for over 2 months and i dont have much to complain now
sturdy aluminium body, nice finish, extremely thin
the battery gets heated up only during prolonged gaming and the battery performance is certainly above average
however windows 7 home basic with ms office starter edition will disappoint u..
the rest is self explanatory from the specs
never evr in my lyf.....

I bought it 2 month ago by spending 50000 bucks and till now used it continuously. I only face the bad resolution of it by the way its great lappy. Nice features with great slim design, metallic body etc so you should grab it :)

Not worth the price, especially not after the hike.

When I got this, it was worth around ~50,000 and I had to choose between HP Envy 6 1002tx and Asus K55VM. I do realize they're very different machines, and I went with HP Envy as I thought this had good enough specs even for my slightly heavy usage, and my experience hasn't been too good.
While the performance holds up well, I do face thermal throttling when the laptop gets hot. My problem has been more related to hardware though and I've seen it mentioned at least twice in other reviews alone. The hinge problem.
I bought mine in July 2012, and I've had that screen/hinge broken problem THRICE in about 18 months. That clearly points towards fault in design rather than in particular part/laptop. For 75k (Not aware of the price in market), this clearly isn't the laptop to go for.
Personal Opinion of mine

Basically HP has tried making it look cool.... as so it is...but the hardware sucks, the hing broke within a few days of usage(soft handling).
The Camera is just named 'TrueVisionHD' the Webcam Sucks., it doesnt display
anything proper even with proper lighting..
The Display Quality is not good.
Even the HP Driver set has a few Bugs !!
I rate it with two stars as they at-least had enough courtesy to replace my display.
