You might not want to read this if you have yet not looked into the good aspects of this machine

I have been using this laptop for about a month now. Didn't buy it online but from a brick-mortar store. Here is review. I have listed the major drawbacks that I have faced with this laptop. You might not want to read this if you have yet not looked into the good aspects of this machine. You might want to read other online reviews or see some videos explaining why this is a good (or bad) maching.
I needed a non Apple ultra book. The only options were this, the one from Asus, and a few years old Lenovo ultrabook. Envy13 was the costliest amongst the three, and yet I preferred it over the others. I am still not comfortable buying a 50k+ Asus machine that I plan to use for four years. Moreover, the Asus machine does not come with an ' i ' series Intel processors, which happened to be a deal breaker.
As soon as you open the box and lift it, its light. Like really light. This is lighter than a macbook air, but that shouldn't matter. I booted it up, and bang. There was the green patch I was scared about. The screen bleed. Its real. It was on the top left corner, visible, albeit a relatively small one. I had read about this before purchasing the laptop and was ready for it. The dark black images are no more dark at the top-left corner, you can see the patch. It also distracts while watching videos. Tried watching a few super low light filmed shots and the bleed was distracting.
Secondly, the keyboard. Its all nice and well spaced. But sometimes that key strokes are not registered. You press a key the way you press the other keys and realize its not registered. This is completely a mechanical issue. If you a press key at its corner, there are about 5% chances that it might not have been pressed. It takes time to press the keys the right way, certainly not a deal breaker.
Thirdly, the body flex. Yes, the laptop body some how flexes while using on lap. I am no Hulk and my hands are not "dhai kilo ke". Use it on your lap, and then place it on a table. You can feel the front-left support off the the ground. So whenever I place my hand for typing, the thing goes down. Its about 4mm or so. Nothing major, and it does get back to normal in a few minutes. Just wanted to inform you.
You see, I have given it a 4 star rating. Given above are only the draw backs that I face. I did not visit the service center / ask for a replace because I do not see how will they eliminate these problems in other machines. You still make them of same material, the screens are from same manufacturer etc. None of the problems hamper the productivity.
But yes, if you are not a RAM intensive user and will not feel compatibility handicap on switching to Apple, mac-book air is the product you want.
PS: the speaker placement is also a bit problematic. While typing, you tend to cover those speakers with your hands (unless you have small hands).

I bought this laptop from Chroma, erring by choosing it over Macbook Air. It was cheaper, looked cool and was coming with an awesome bag and had even a finger print scanner.
I was wrong. This is one of the worst laptops ever produced by hp. Biggest issue is heating. No sooner does the CPU usage exceed 50% the laptop starts to heat up like an oven. Fingerprint scanner is worse than what you get in cheap mobiles and the laptop hangs. I feared that 4 gb RAM would not be sufficient even with an ssd and I was correct.SSDs perform best with an 8 gb RAM. .Battery is pathetic in comparison to other ultra books out there.Stores may decieve you by praising this laptop and you may be misled by sleek looks.B it of you value your money even a little bit, don't buy this laptop. Just don't do it.

This is a very good ultrabook at its price! Better than macbook air in every specs. Display quality and metal finish is very good. 128 gb ssd makes this laptop lightning fast for day to day usage. Integrated graphics and 6th gen core i5 handles decent games like dota 2 ,fifa 16, etc.
I would recommend this ultrabook as I am having a wonderful experience with it!
