Blackberry Curve 9350 is a mid-range smartphone by BlackBerry. This phone is the first in Curve series to run on the BlackBerry 7 OS which boasts of many improved features such as faster graphics, enhanced browser performance, support for NFC and augmented reality apps. The Blackberry Curve 9350 is powered by a 800 MHz powerful processor supported by 512 MB of RAM. Measuring 109 x 60 x 11 mm in dimension and weighing just 99 g, the Blackberry Curve 9350 feels incredibly small and light making it easier to carry around. The device features a 2.44 inch HVGA LCD screen with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels which displays graphics and text equally well. Beneath the display there is a QWERTY keyboard with a optical touch pad which assists in navigation through the device. The 5 megapixel camera on Blackberry Curve 9350 allows users to capture the fun and memorable moments of life. The camera on the device comes with various features like face detection, image stabilization and various scene modes.
Blackberry Curve 9350 also provides multiple connectivity features. It supports dual-band CDMA 2G/3G connectivity, Wi-Fi connectivity over b/g/n standards, Bluetooth 2.1 and NFC. Blackberry Curve 9350 looks very similar to Curve 9330. However, it is much thinner than Curve 9330 and thanks to the tapered edges it feels much smaller in hands.
The front of the device features a brilliant and crisp 2.44 inch HVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels and 16 million colors. Below the screen is the full QWERTY keyboard with a layout similar to those on other curve devices. Though the keys on the keyboard are decently sized, the smaller size of BlackBerry Curve 9350 make the keyboard a little cramped and you may end up pressing two keys at once. On the left spine of this BlackBerry Curve 9350 is a microUSB port, while the right side is home to a volume rocker and a customizable shortcut key. On the top, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack along with screen lock key. The BlackBerry 7 OS brings Liquid Graphics technology to the device which brings some nice speed and visual improvements. The UI is mainly menu driven and integrates various social apps like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube apart from the standard RIM apps.

While Android and iOS devices make operating system as their strength, BlackBerry has chosen hardware as their new rallying cry. There are some nice hardware upgrades, like incorporation of NFC, faster processor and EV-DO support but the software revisions are too few on this BlackBerry devices and it seems to runs the same basic OS that the Curve 8330 did 3 years ago. So if you are not a die-hard BlackBerry fan, you might want to go for other options that offer better OS and functionality.
