Nokia 225 Dual Red - Expert Reviews

The last year or so has been a great time for Nokia as the Finnish firm has experienced some inspiring revival. There have a lot of Nokia fans who did not want the company to dissolve and fall apart and the firm has responded very well with their popularity surging in the last few months. The fact that consumers are looking for an alternative to Android may have also contributed to the same. However, Nokia has gone the other way as well and has come out with their first Android handset despite resisting the adoption of the software platform for years. But we are not reviewing a high-end smartphone and in fact are going back to what Nokia produced a decade back in a frequent manner and that was a budget device.

Nokia 225 is not a smartphone but is a budget mobile phone that features a 2.8-inch TFT screen with a 262k color depth and a pixel density of 143ppi. Resolution is also on the lower side with Nokia 225 offering 240 by 320 pixels. The gadget has a length of 124mm, a breadth of 55.5mm and a thickness of 10.4mm with a weight of 100.6 grams to accompany. The device is adaptive to 2G SIM that works with 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz. Nokia has always strengthened itself in the battery section and Nokia 225 is no different with a 1,200mAh standard lithium-ion battery that delivers a talktime of up to 21 hours and a standby time of up to 648 hours. The figures are phenomenal considering the battery strength prescribed and the performance carries forward with an exceptional music play time of up to 49 hours.
