Indian Intel Agencies raises alarm over Chinese apps: here’s the full list

Indian intelligence agencies have reportedly warned the Government to ban or dissuade from use of 52 mobile applications with links to China. The agencies report that these applications are not safe and have known to extract data from outside of India.
Many popular apps like TikTok, Zoom, Shareit, UC Browser, among others, have made it to the list.
This move was recently backed by the National Security Council Secretariat as well. The organisation believes that this data extraction could be detrimental to national security.
