Redmi Note 8, addressed as one of the most popular Xiaomi smartphones to date, is soon going to get a relaunch. Yes, you read it right, the company is planning to bring an upgraded version of the Redmi Note 8 to the market. The smartphone will be named Redmi Note 8 2021. This information has been shared by Xiaomi's official Twitter handle. Previous reports have also suggested that the company is working on an upgrade of Redmi Note 8. As of now, Xiaomi has not announced anything officially regarding the launch date of the smartphone but it is expected to hit the market by the third quarter of 2021. Talking about the older Redmi Note 8, it is still relevant in many international markets and can be said to be an appropriate smartphone for people looking in the budget segment. Redmi Note 8 2021 Specifications

Redmi Note 8 will come with a model number M1908C3JGG and it will have around 6.5-inch FHD+ display. The smartphone will run on the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and will be based on the latest Android 11 operating system. It can offer two RAM variants including 4GB and 6GB. All three variants will have 128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, it is being said that the smartphone will come with a quad rear camera set up that will include a 48MP primary lens. At the front, it will get a waterdrop display along with a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. When it comes to battery, this new smartphone can be a bit disappointing as speculations are that it will get a 4000 mAh battery. Users can expect a backup of 7 to 9 hours when the smartphone is used extensively. The device will also support 22.5W fast charging that will completely charge the smartphone from zero to 100% in less than 2 and a half hours.
