Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Smart TV X series in India today. The smartphone range starts from Rs 32,999 for the 50-inch model. All the smart TVs have a 4K HDR LED display. The smart TV X series is based on the latest Android TV 10 operating system. The Redmi Smart TV X supports HDR up to 12-bit Dolby Vision. To avoid any clashes between sub-brands, Xiaomi is expected to sell the Redmi TVs at an affordable range and Mi TVs at mid-ranged and premium prices with high-end specifications. However, the high-end variant of Redmi TV will cross the mark of Rs 40,000 at which almost all the companies offer affordable large screen TVs with top-notch specifications. Redmi Smart TV X series offers different displays including 50 inch, 55 inch and 65 inch 4K HDR LED screens. The Smart TV operates on the Android TV 10 operating system and offers access to PatchWall UI. The unique UI of Xiaomi is already been a part of the mid-ranged and premium-ranged TVs. The smart TV also offers a built-in Google Chromecast. Moreover, the Redmi TV range is the first product by the company to have a Mi Home app for IoT products. It includes a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The auto-low latency mode of the TV makes sure that you get one of a kind gaming experience.
