Samsung launches The Serif, its latest ultra-premium TV range

Samsung is here with yet another exceptional offering. The new line up, called, The Serif has been unveiled and it is ‘unconditionally beautiful’. In a never seen before design, the Serif can be placed anywhere, with or without a stand. The unibody design is in the shape of the letter ‘I’, and can seamlessly blend with your décor. The serif will come in three sizes: 43”, 49” and 55”. Let’s talk about connectivity. The Serif comes equipped to support Airplay 2, so you can easily connect your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. It also comes with an NFC technology which lets you place your mobile on top of the Serif & it automatically connects to the TV, enabling you to play your music. The Serif supports 3 different voice assistants: Bixby, Alexa & Google Assistant. Coming to the technology behind the Serif. The Serif offers brilliant picture quality via Quantum Dot technology and HDR10+, which adjusts brightness in real-time to sync with the frames. Adaptive picture, AI Upscaling, and great color volume make sure that the picture quality is immaculate. It also supports an Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) that adjusts the volume to get rid of background noise. Lastly, the price. The 43” version stands at INR 83,900; the 49” at INR 1,16,900 and the 55” at a whopping 1,48,900. The Serif will initially go on sale via Amazon, Samsung’s online store & at a few of the Samsung Smart Plazas.
