Samsung strengthens its contactless measures, offers customer support over Whatsapp

In an attempt to elevate the contactless experience for customers, Samsung India has planned to offer customer services & and support remotely, via Whatsapp. This will majorly include Live Chat with support staff, call center support & access to DIY videos over the Samsung website or YouTube. This move comes after the rapid increase in Covid-19 cases across the country. Companies are rapidly trying to enhance & simplify customer experiences to adjust to evolving circumstances. And Samsung is following the suit. VP, Samsung India, Sunil Cutinha said “WhatsApp support is another step we have taken to provide contactless service options to our consumers, especially in the current situation. We are confident that this will help us deepen our consumer connect while providing greater convenience to them. We are hopeful our consumers will utilize the WhatsApp support service to ensure they stay home and stay safe” To utilize the offered service, a customer will have to send a simple message on Samsung’s WhatsApp support number 1800-5-SAMSUNG (1800-5-7267864) and request for required assistance. The can raise a technical support query, get information about offers or locations, get updates on complaints, get demos of installation, etc. The service will be made available from 9 am – 6 pm throughout the week.
