The Redmi Note 9 is here! Here’s everything you need to know

The Redmi Note 9 has been launched in India today. A virtual launch event was held on Redmi’s Social Media channels, where the phone was finally revealed after weeks of leaks, teasers, and speculations. Another budget offering from the house of Redmi, the Redmi Note 9 is a modulated version of the recently launched Note 9 Pro & Note 9 Pro Max. https://twitter.com/RedmiIndia/status/1285098901431672832   The phone will go live for sale on 24th July’20 on Redmi’s website and on Amazon. The price has been set starting at INR 11,999 for the base model with a 4GB+64GB variant, INR 13,499 for 4GB+128GB model & the high-end variant will retail at INR 14,999 with a 6GB+128GB storage. It will come in 3 color options: Pebble Grey, Arctic White, and Aqua Green. The Features & Specs With a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen and an anti-oil and anti-fingerprint protective nano-coating, the Redmi Note 9 is a solid device. It comprises a 6.53 inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,340 pixels) Dot Display with 19.5:9 screen to body ratio. The Note 9 carries a quad-camera set up, a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with up to 118-degree field of view, 2 MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth camera for autofocus. The front camera stands at 12MP for the crystal clear selfies. Coming to what’s under the hood, the Redmi Note 9 runs on Android 10. It also features an octa-core high-performance Helio G85 with MediaTek HyperEngine for a superior gaming experience. The Redmi Note 9 will run on a 5020mAh battery with a 22.5W fast charger and a 9W reverse charging feature. Lastly, Note 9 can support 4G/3G/2G, dual SIM VoLTE HD calling, and VoWiFi.
