On Wednesday, Oppo launched its Find X2 series in India, 3 months after the phone was unveiled in Europe. Here’s everything you need to know about it:
Find X2 & X2 Pro Price
First things first, the price. The X2 is priced in India at Rs. 64,990 for the 128GB RAM variant with 256 GB internal storage. The phone will go on sale in India from 23rd June. Oppo is yet to announce the price point for the X2 Pro but our guess is that the X2 Pro will be available in a limited quantity only.
Specifications: Find X2
The X2 will be available in two variants: Black Ceramic & Ocean Blue. Coming to Display, the X2 has a 120Hz refresh rate, 3K QHD+ clarity, and billion-colour vibrancy. 240Hz touch sampling rate, makes the phone instantly & accurately react to even a slight brush. The 6.7 inch OLED curved screen, QHD+ resolution and an adaptive eye protection system, make this the quintessential flagship smartphone! The truly futuristic design will make it hard for you to consider buying any other premium smartphone.
Next, let’s talk about the Camera. Versatile Triple Camera System at the rear, i.e. 48MP Wide Angle Camera, 12MP Ultra Wide Angle Camera and 13MP Telephoto Camera. This along with a 32 MP Selfie Camera at the front. Image stabilisation, high-resolution video shooting and multiple shooting modes, this phone is made to make your pictures come alive. While this is what we can say just by reading the specs, expect a full review once we get our hands on the device.
Equipped with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 865 Mobile Platform, coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, this device measures up in terms of performance, rightly what a Flagship device should have. The phone runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10.0. Its revolutionary 65W SuperVOOC flash charging brings the 4200 mAh battery to 40% in just 10 minutes, fully charging the phone in 38 minutes.
The Distinction
The major distinction lies with the image sensors. While both X2 and X2 Pro come with a triple camera system, the X2 Pro has a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX689 sensor with an f/1.7, seven-piece lens, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens that has a field of view (FoV) of 120 degrees, and a 13-megapixel sensor with a periscope-shaped f/3.0 telephoto lens. On the other hand, the Find X2 comes with a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX586 sensor and an f/1.7 lens, 12-megapixel secondary Sony IMX708 sensor and an f/2.2 lens, and a 13-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens.
The second difference comes from a storage PoV. The Pro has 512GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage and the X2 has 256GB of UFS 3.0 onboard storage.
