Vivo T2 5G Series to be launched this month, check specs and other details

Vivo is expected to expand its T series lineup in India with its T2 5G. The upcoming smartphone is expected to bring several improvements over its predecessor, the Vivo T1 5G, which was launched in 2022. The launch timeline and specifications of the Vivo T2 5G have allegedly been leaked online, with reports indicating that the device will feature a Snapdragon SoC, a full-HD+ display, and Android 13.

 

Vivo T2 Series Launch & Pricing

According to a report by Pricebaba, the Vivo T2 series is anticipated to launch in India in mid-April. The rumored T2 series will likely include two models - the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G. The report also suggests that the upcoming smartphones will use both MediaTek Dimensity and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. With prices expected to be under Rs. 20,000, one of the devices could become Vivo's most affordable 5G smartphone in India.

 

Vivo T2 Series Specifications

The Vivo T2x 5G, reportedly listed with the model number V2225, has a waterdrop notch display and full-HD+ resolution. According to the report, the handset will have a Dimensity 700 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and Android 13 as its operating system.

The Google Play Console database reportedly features Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G, revealing some key details. The Vivo T2 5G, listed with the model number Vivo V2222, is said to have a waterdrop notch display with a full-HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. The device is expected to run on Android 13.

 

Vivo T1 5G Overview

The Vivo T1 5G was launched in India in February last year. Powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, it offers up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. The Vivo T1 5G also includes a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
