Let me dispel any doubts you might have about Micromax as a company, in specific their After Sale Service.
I had bought this TV in July-2016 from Amazon (MHD model), unfortunately it was damaged on arrival; Therefore, I returned it.
I have bought this specific model from Abhirami Electronics Chennai on 2nd July-2016, the Micromax Technician came home on a Sunday to install my TV; I do not like wall mounting my TV as it is impossible to clean the back of the TV.
Upon installation the following worked:
1. Output from my PC via VGA to the TV
2. Chromecast via HDMI
3. Set-top Box via HDMI
4. Videos via USB.
What did not work was the sound output of the TV was not getting transferred to my Sony surround-sound! That technician and I tried for a while then gave up.
The Store (Abhirami) informed me that if it is proved that the TV is defective he would replace it, but he would need confirmation from Micromax service head for the same.
I started calling the Service Manager & his head on Monday; They gave me the usual Gyaan of my cables not being okay, the feature of my TV not supporting surround-sound. After 15 minutes, I told them that the best solution would be to come home and figure out what is going wrong. They immediately agreed;
On Tuesday i.e. 5-July, the Micromax service manager came home & figured out that the connection given by previous Technician was wrong!!
The TV works perfectly now with the Surround-sound; While one might argue that the first technician was not good, I would say within 2 days someone came home to look at my issue and resolve it;
Micromax is a very responsive company (LED TVs); So do not hesitate to buy this! Cheers
PS: I would give video clarity 10/10 , it is awesome!! Apart from the Micromax name it behaves like a Sony; Sound output: 5/10 (You need a sound bar or surround system)

The product stopped working within one month . Had to make atleast 6-7 calls to customer care before I could get a technician to attend it . Later it was detected that it's backlight was gone . It was then take to service centre and was returned after 10 days .

after receiving TV will DABA between 20 day and still not get replacement 50inch ka daba hai daba,
This my first Led TV BUT now it my first led tv that are daba micromax CC just tell me we will replace it never give me any information about the date and how may time it will take, If next replace tv was OK and never turn off between 1 yr then i will satify but still now it daba hai daba micromax ka dabba.
I am using LG LCD and it work after 3 yr but this TV is non workable within 20 day after receiving.

Worst product ever. Won't even last a day. First time I've purchased a new brand's tv and it taught me a great lesson to not trust these kind of brands. Sony tv would be our first choice any day for tv but this time we tried to buy something new and were highly disappointed. They display of the tv got spoilt on the first day of use. Call centre people have no sense of responsibility neither does the seller care. In short, don't even think about buying micromax.

Worst experience ever.TV will stop working as soon as 1 year warranty is over. Repairing cost will be equal to a new TV. Their useless call center 18605008899 will only disconnect your calls. I blew up Rs.43000 for a 50 inch LED Micromax TV.Please don’t waste your money.Put a little more and buy Sony/Samsung and live headache-free.Surprising Micromax is daring to produce AC and washing machines as well.

Yes very good deal. .... tv is fine, though sound is not that great but I've used samsung 2.1 audio which works great now. Great deal! That too with 3 years warranty. .... can't match this!

In the given scenario my opinion is not to buy something which is doubtful.... People's experience should be considered.Its hard earned money and should not be wasted.Choice is yours guys.
Stopped working after a month

Purchased 50in LED TV few months ago. Remote stopped working after 2 weeks. Was managing with manual buttons, they stopped working too. Appaling quality control by Micromax, best to avoid.
