Xiaomi launches flagship Mi Mix 4 with 'under-display' camera and Snapdragon 888+

Being the largest smartphone seller in India, Mi is now aiming for world domination. Producing separate ranges for premium flagships with budget takeaways side by side, Mi is not leaving a chance for its competitors. Adding the latest feather to its hat, Mi recently launched Mi Mix 4 in China in a special event. Until now, there's no confirmed news regarding its launch in the Indian market.

Processor, Display, RAM

Mi is famous for sticking together some of the best things out there and just like that, the latest specimen holds a beautiful bezel-less AMOLED display of 6.67 inches with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate while packing a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 resolution. HDR10+ with Dolby surround sound will make the overall experience of viewing 'bamboozled' Hopping onto the current trend, the phone will pack an under-display fingerprint sensor. Throwing the humongous processing power of 2.84GHz which boosts up to 2.99GHZ powered by Snapdragon 888+ processor chip. The operating system is running Android 11 above of which sits MIUI 12.5 with advanced privacy controls and data storage recognition along with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone comes with internal storage variations of 128, 256, and 512GB being UFS 3.1 type, the Mi Mix 4 does not have any external storage. Camera, Battery, Charging Capacity

Let's talk about optics now because it surely captured everyone's attention. The high-end 108MP primary camera with 8k recording @ 24 fps video recording is now being consistent in high-end Mi flagships such as Mi Mix 4 with a supporting cast of 8MP periscope telescopic lens and 13MP ultra-wide camera. The star of the show being 'under-the-display' 20MP with a 27mm wide lens that shoots 1080 pixel video at 30fps. The handset holds a non-removable 4500mAh juice that comes with a 120W fast-charger. while supporting wireless charging, it is advertised that it will go 100% in 15 mins (wired). Watch out Oneplus! Holding so many jewels in one aluminum frame, there is still WIFI 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and IR. Mi is all set on its aim of replacing flagships with its power-packed devices, although now running with Samsung and Apple from head to head, it'll be a tough race!
